The firm is actively seeking the following positions for our Houston office:

Electrical Designer: HHEC is searching for an Electrical Designer to perform a wide variety of design functions in the Houston area. This position will be a full time position. The individual will work closely with our engineers and other design professionals in the production of work in progress and in the development of upcoming work assignments. Projects typically include the analysis and design of lighting, power distribution, controls and fire alarm systems for commercial, educational and municipal facilities.

• Perform tasks and other project assignments as required by the project.
• Work closely with project electrical engineer in the timely production of construction documents.
• Work may include conceptual design and planning; design and drawing schematics; equipment sizing and layout; and construction phase services.
• Research and develop background material and correlate data for others. Prepare information and diagrams for reports.

• Associates Degree is a plus
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required
• Strong communication skills required
• 8-10 years experience required

Electrical Engineer: Develop lighting, power distribution, controls and fire alarm systems for commercial, educational and municipal facilities.

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience: 5+ years job experience.
• Have passed FE/EIT exam and able to sit for the PE exam.
• Technically strong with excellent communication skills.
• Basic AutoCAD competency.
• LEED certification a plus.
